Tacorde is an easy going, laid back stallion with a wonderful character.  He is very substantial with the right amount of bone for his huge frame and enough chrome to not be missed.  He is one of the few Concorde sons available via fresh semen in North America.  Tacorde is also a very athletic horse with perfect jumping technique and a ton of scope over the fences; jumping is definitely in his blood. 

Tacorde had another amazing year in 2009 being very competitive again up to 1.4m this time with Lorrie Jamieson who is only 5'4".  He started his year a bit late at Spruce Meadows Canada One and North American where he placed top ten everyday in his second week including a 5th place in the Saturday 1.25m mini Prix against 50 of the top competitors in N.A.  He then went on to Amberlea where he became third with a double clear round in the 1.4m grand prix.  He continued at the July Classic at Spruce Meadows in the 1.3m and then Paramount again at the 1.3m in the mud.  He did the open welcome at Rocky Mountain going clear in the first round.  He finished his year off very well at the Spruce Meadows Masters.   His career is building on previous years where he has been ridden by both Bryan Anderson and Lorrie Jamieson indoors and out.  He has won many top placings in jump off and speed rounds against some top competition proving that this gentle giant has the athletic ability to handle tough courses.

Tacorde's sire Olympic Concorde was named Horse of the Year in Holland in 2003.  Concorde is the number one producer of show jumpers by money won in the USA in 2002 with his offspring earning nearly $200,000 in 2002 on the American show jumping circuit.  He is also listed on the top ten for show jumper stallions world wide. 

Tacorde's Dam Narcis W is by the immensely popular Goodtimes.  Goodtimes has produced many successful horses in both the jumper and dressage rings and several approved stallions.  Goodtimes is known for producing offspring with excellent conformation, good looks and athleticism for any discipline.  Narcis W's grand sire on the bottom is Damiro who is known for adding tractable minds and more great athletic ability.

Tacorde’s offspring are just as we expected, substantial with excellent hind ends and super nice 'huntery' canters and their fathers wonderful laid back temperament.  Tacorde is proving to cross exceptionally well on blood type mares that need a bit more substance and a more tractable temperament.  And yes he has put chrome on them all!  

Tacorde is approved with the Canadian Warmblood and has received his Silver Premium with the Canadian Sport Horse Association from his wins in the Jumper ring.
