Stella is a good looking mare who stands 16hh with a very big body.  She has been to several shows competing up to 0.90m jumpers.  She is very competitive as she is super quick and careful.  She is a hotter type mare to jump and gets excited about jumping so is better suited for someone who enjoys a forward ride.  On the flat she is very easy with a super soft mouth and is very light to the aids.  She is well broke on the flat and could easily excel as an event prospect as she is a good mover and very brave about new jumps. 

Stella's sire Tacorde is now competing at the FEI level of Show Jumping successfully competing in his first World Cup Qualifier last August at Thunderbird.  And already in 2011 has been several times clear at the 1.40m level indoors.  He will be campaigned in the 1.50m aiming for more FEI competitions in 2011.  Tacorde just like Stella loves to jump and gets very excited about jumping. 

Stella's dam Leia was used only as a broodmare as she had a pasture injury at a young age.  She was a full sister to 'Chewy' who for years was successful at the 1.20m level with several different amateur riders.  Leia was by Evergreen who stud for his first years at Spruce Meadows and competed up to 1.40m jumpers before being sold to the states where he made the switch to Dressage and competed all the way up to the grand prix level.
