Check out Tacorde and

been added. As well as a few new sales horses!
Lee Tubman will be back again for another clinic
on the weekend of November 28th. There are still a few
spots available for those interested. It should be a great
clinic as always.
Westwing and Tacorde just back from the Spruce
Meadows Masters where they handled the tough courses and stiff
competition well finishing their show season at a very
competitive level.
Zeno attended the CWB stallion performance test at the end of
August and was Reserve Champion.
Tacorde and Westwing again had a good showing at
Paramount even with mud from head to toe and very cold weather.
Westwing placed in both 1.2m mini prix's and really handled
himself well in a difficult ring. We then came home
Saturday evening after Tacorde's Grand Prix and left again
Sunday morning with Zeno and Mona to do the Material young horse
classes at MJ Farms show. Both where very good and a video is up
of Mona on the horses for sale page. |

Zeno and Tempranillo did a practice Dressage show
both received very positive comments from the judge on their
ability and talent. Plans are to head to the Dressage
Provincials from September 17 - 20. Zeno will be in the FEI 5 year olds and Tempranillo will be doing 3rd level.

The Lee Tubman clinic
was a success. The weather co-operated and the horses were
prepped for their upcoming Dressage show at Amberlea. The riders
enjoyed Lee's expert advise plus some iced Crantini's ring side
to take the heat off.

Another successful show
for the whole team of KVF at Amberlea Meadows. I would
like to take this opportunity to congratulate all of my students
who rode very well and came home with lots of ribbons and good
memories. Tacorde was outstanding with a double clear in
the 1.4m Grand Prix and a 3rd placing. Westwing placed
second in the 1.2m mini prix. The boys are really coming
into their own in 2009 watch for Westwing and Tacorde at Spruce
from July17th-21st |

Tacorde and Tempranillo are finishing up a successful couple of
weeks at Spruce Meadows. Tacorde was consistently top 10 in the
1.25m against the likes of Eric Lamaze, Jill Henselwood and
other top riders in the sport. Tempranillo jumped around 1.2m
courses built by Olympic course designers like they were a
Regular Working hunter class and yes he looked good doing it. |

Tempranillo, Talme and
Westwing just back from the Edmonton Northlands Horseshow where
they all competed successfully with top placings. Westwing came
home with the Reserve Champion in the 1.2 m division. New
videos up of both Westwing and Tempranillo. |

Breeding and foaling season is well under way with
new babies coming nearly daily now. All of the stallions
have new arrivals, it is the year of the chestnuts with big
blazes.
KVF had another fun show the first Sunday of
May and what a beautiful day it turned out to be after a long
cold spring. Everyone had a great time and are ready to
start the outdoor show season.

2009 was off to a cold start, at our New Year's fun
show on January 3rd the morning temperature was a blistery -37
without the wind chill but that didn't keep anyone from coming
out and having a blast. Talme participated in the Linda
Allen clinic January 8th and 9th held at the beautiful new
Carousel Ridge, it was very informative and we both learned a
lot and have some very good new exercises to work on with all of
the horses. |
