As the show season starts to wind down I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all of my students for a very successful 2008.  Most achieving the goals that they had set out for themselves both at home and in the show ring.  Keep up the hard work and 2009 will be even better!!

Zeno and Tempranillo attended the dressage Provincials held in Red Deer in Sept.  Zeno won both of the Material classes at his very first dressage show.  Tempranillo's marks at third level continue to improve with very positive comments from the judges.

Rosario, Westwing and Talme attended the ASJA finals at Anderson Ranch Sept 11 - 14.  Rosario was fourth in the 1.2m speed derby.  Westwing jumped very well in the 1.15m as well as the 6 year old young horse finals class which was set at 1.2m.  Talme finished the year off in the 1.2m.

Tacorde attended both weeks of RMSJ in August in week one he was reserve champion in the 1.2m jumpers and won the 1.2m mini prix.  Week two he won a 1.3m class and had a clear round in another 1.3m placing 4th.  Watch for him at Spruce Meadows indoors in October.  Talme attended week one with clear rounds in the 1.2m and good rounds in the 7/8 year old class which was set as 1.3m.

Talme, Rosario and Uminka attended the Amberlea Jump for Hope for Kids with cancer show from July 9-13.  Talme was Champion of the 1.2m jumpers and also had a great round in his first National Level Grand Prix with only one rail.  Uminka in her first recognized show competed in the 1.10m jumpers were she was Champion and she also won the speed derby. Rosario was Reserve Champion of the 1.15m jumpers in her first show since being imported.  See more of these two girls on our broodmares page.

Fortunate Son attended his second dressage show and received very good marks and comments in his FEI 4 year old tests.  See him under the horses for sale a new under saddle video is up.

Talme, Zeno, Wallita and Rico were all up at Edmonton Northlands from May 28 - 31. Talme and Rico competed in the 1.2m where Rico was reserve champion after showing in only 2 of the 3 classes.  Talme had several clear rounds and a couple of top ten finishes and Zeno was phenomenal in the 4 year old classes receiving an 84% and 90%. Wallita did the 1.0m jumpers and is really coming becoming much more ridable and looking for the jumps.  Video of Northlands now up.

Tacorde, Talme and Zeno will all be out at the Caledonia spring show May 17 - 19 look for Zeno in the 4 year old class as well as the 1.0m jumpers, Talme in the 1.2m and Tacorde in the 1.3m jumpers.  The show will be held at Amberlea Meadows in Edmonton.

Breeding season is well under way. The boys will be competing as well as breeding so please let us know as soon as possible approximate breeding dates so that we can work with your schedule.

All of the stallions stud fees will remain very competitive for 2008 and as usual we offer multiple mare and repeat client discounts.

The first Zeno foal has arrived see Zeno's page for some photos.  He is a gorgeous chestnut colt produced via embryo transfer out of Uminka (Calvados x Nimmerdor).

Talme, Tacorde and Wolita were in Arizona where they placed in the top 10 in their divisions.  The first show will be RMSJ schooling show January 26 and 27.

February 2nd and 3rd KVF will be hosting a Lee Tubman clinic auditors welcome.  Lee is an upper level dressage rider who trains not only dressage horses but hunters and jumpers as well.
