Team KVF attended week III of the Midsummer
Classic at Anderson Ranch. For some it was a first show in
years. All had a great show taking home ribbons and a new found
experience. Congratulations !! Westwing is proving himself to be
a Derby horse as well finishing up with a 4th in a large class
of competitors in the 1.20m Derby. Tacorde went June 17 - 20 to the Spruce
Meadows 'Continental' and moved up to the 1.45m division. He was
up against 60 of the top horse rider combinations vying for
precious FEI points and again consistently finished in the top
half of the field. This is quite an accomplishment considering
that the majority of the field have been in the 1.5m ring for at
least one season.
Tempranillo and Tacorde went June 9 - 13 to
the Spruce Meadows 'National' where there was torrential
downpours the whole week. Tacorde handled the mud like a
true mudder consistently finishing in the top 15 in the 1.40m
division. An unfortunate misstep in the mud cut
Tempranillo's week short.
Tempranillo, Tacorde and Westwing had a very
successful week at the Edmonton Classic Horse Show (formerly
Northlands). Tempranillo moved up to the Grand Prixs after only
6 shows under his belt and placed 3rd. He handled the ring
like an old pro. Westwing had a great week winning a 1.30m
class.

Team KVF was at Bow Valley week I, the weather
was phenominal, the new arenas are gorgeous and everyone had a
great time. All of the students improved everyday and
really finished up strong and are ready for a great show season.
Zeno placed consistently in the top 6 in both
the 1.10m and 1.15m with 40+ entries. Westwing didn't have
a rail all week in the 1.20m and did a very nice 1.30m round
complete with double liver pools. Tempranillo moved up to
the 1.30m and improved each day finishing off with one rail in
the mini prix. See new videos of all three on their
respective pages.
