Cupid is a long legged, gorgeous gelding who already stands over 16.2hh, yet he is very refined and elegant in both his body type and movement.  He is being started under saddle now and is proving to be a very quick learner who tries hard to please.  His movement is impressive covering a lot of ground, with good push from behind and reach through his shoulder.  His canter is very balanced with good rhythm.  Cupid shows a lot of scope in the free jumping chute with good technique.  He will excel in any ring with his gorgeous movement and impressive jump and he is sure to get noticed with his bit of 'bling'. 

Cupid's sire is Oxford who has had a great deal of success in both the Grand Prix jumper ring competing up to 1.40m with many top placings and then switching over to the Regular Working hunters and again having top placings at some very big shows.  He has proven to produce the same multi-talented offspring who jump in great form and are very amateur friendly.

Cupid's dam Ratina VDL is an imported mare by the 'stallion of the century' Nimmerdor who is found in multitudes of top performance horses both in the jumper ring and the dressage ring.  On her bottom side is another of the best sires of all time Landgraf I who is found in many of the top jumper pedigree's around the world.  Ratina herself first produced several offspring and then just recently has gone on to a performance career of her own.
