Oberton is a super kind willing young gelding who loves attention and to be worked with.  He has attended a couple of hunter schooling shows were he was placed in both the over fences and under saddle classes.   Burt as he is known around the barn is a pleasure to work with and tries very hard every time out he is now doing leg yields, shoulder in and working on his changes.  He is being ridden by both professionals and an amateur and handles it all with an unflappable attitude.  He will make a perfect horse for someone who not only wants to do well in the ring but also wants a friend to have fun with no matter the discipline.

Oberton is by Oberon who is a very easy going all around horse himself that has had a successful career in not only the Dressage and jumper rings but now also in eventing.  Oberon is by the Dressage stallion Idocus who is known for his good ride-ability and quality gaits.  Idocus spend most of his riding career in Holland and now has returned to the US and although he is getting a bit older he is still very competitive at the Grand Prix level of dressage.

Oberton is out of a nice sport producing Thoroughbred mare.
