Anthony
is a refined elegant young stallion with a beautiful expression.
He is sensitive yet bold in his work and is progressing nicely under
saddle. He has very nice movement with good suspension and a
very balanced canter. His jump is textbook hunter with a slow
take off and snappy knees and he finishes well from behind. He
comes from a very pre-potent mother line of athletic show horses and
should just like his half brother be very consistent in his ability
to pass his good traits on to his offspring. Anthony's one
test foal is a carbon copy of himself out of a TB mare she carries a
good amount of bone with her father's doll face and a very friendly,
trainable temperament. Anthony looks to produce superb hunter
offspring with gorgeous top-lines and easy going personalities with
a more refined look to them.
Anthony's sire Ovidius
was one of the top young stallions of his age group winning the 4 &
5 year old young horse competitions and then repeating as a 6 & 7
year old. He was short listed for the 2004 Olympics and has
had a very successful international show jumping career.
Ovidius is by Aldatus who also was an extremely successful
international show jumper winning Young Riders European Team Gold
and Individual silver with Christian Allmann, and then continuing
his career under Jos Lansink. Aldatus carries the blood of the
top European sires Alme Z, Ramiro, and Cor de la Bryere. On
Ovidius's dam line we find one of the top mother lines in Holland
the Twiggy mother line which has produced numerous approved
stallions including; Creool, Dammen, Madison and Octrooi.
Ovidius is producing just as expected from these strong bloodlines
very good jumping horses of modern type who are excelling at the
young horse competitions and many are being ridden by Amateurs.
Anthony's dam Ilobria has been awarded both her Keur and Pref
from the KWPN for her own sport performance and her
offspring. She jumped to 1.30 and up to Z level dressage as
well as producing some exceptional offspring. This mare line
comes from generations of Keur, Pref mares. Ilobria's sire
Damiro is becoming very well known as a broodmare sire and many
stallions who make it through the 70 day test have him in their
mother line.
