Westwing is a big solid gelding standing over 16.3 hh. He has a very sweet temperament, he loves getting groomed and fussed over and will stand in the cross ties for hours. In 2010 he became very solid at the 1.30m level, competing in several local Grand Prix's at that level. He has proven to be very brave yet careful, having many top placings over derby courses jumping absolutely anything that is asked of him including open water, natural liver pools, grobs, banks, steps and numerous different jumps at every top venue in western Canada. He has shown with success at the Brandon Winter Fair, Spruce Meadows, Anderson Ranch, Northlands, Thunderbird Show Park and many other local shows. Westwing is a big powerful horse who has a lot of suspension in his trot and a very balanced canter, he is easily adjustable in the ring and is always listening to his rider. He has been a great horse to bring up the levels, rising to each new challenge with his great work ethic and brave attitude.
